Website design - Toowong - Accountant

The Baker and Pease accounting team in Toowong needed a website refresh.

The brief: Update their website to give it a fresh and professional modern look and feel.  The website lists their business advisory and accounting services. Clients must be able to access their portal and get in touch by email or a form. 

This website design, build and maintenance was delivered with these services:

  • Essentials website design and build: The website includes Home, Services, About and Contact. The website reflects a classic modern image and is clear and easy to navigate. 
  • Plus: Keyword research was included as well as Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) to ensure that the foundation SEO is well established. All images were sourced to match their brand and message appropriately.

Pearl Plumbing

Website design - Westlake - Plumber

PEARL PLUMBING in Westlake needed a website update and refresh.

The brief: Their website had not been kept up to date and they were not able to get access to the WordPress admin. The website had an error & could not be viewed. 

After getting the website visible again, PEARL PLUMBING needed the website to have an updated look. They requested a very simple one-page website.

I helped to get access to the website and the hosting to get their WordPress website as up-to-date as possible. 

Then their new website design and build was delivered with the Start-Up Option. It includes one page with Services, About and Contact. It highlights their awards, lists their Google Reviews and their service areas. The website is simple and uncluttered featuring the style of their existing logo.

Postcards from Abroad - Travel Blog

Website design - WordPress Blog

Deb is a travel blogger who created her travel blog using WordPress. She was looking for some help because she was having trouble uploading her holiday photos. The videos were also taking up too much hosting storage. We met at the local library, and I helped her as much as I could in the time we had. Ultimately Deb decided to refresh her travel blog and set herself up for a successful blogging future!

The brief: Refresh the website and present a modern, clean, friendly and adventurous image to her audience. It must:

  1. be well structured so that it is easy for users to navigate and find what they are looking for.
  2. be easy for Deb to add articles to her travel blog and travel hints and tips resources.
  3. have a solid SEO foundation and set-up so that each article in the blog can be optimised for search engine results.

Users must be able to fill in a contact form, subscribe to a newsletter and/or comment on a blog article.

Website design - Sinnamon Park - Restaurant

Thai Hometown is a family run restaurant in Sinnamon Park in the Western Suburbs of Brisbane. With over 40 years culinary experience, they serve delicious & authentic Thai food. You will always receive a warm welcome and friendly service at Thai Hometown.

The brief: Refresh their website to clearly present their family restaurant’s Thai heritage, showcase their food and reflect their values of real Thai food with a warm and inviting atmosphere.  Clients must be able to easily find the restaurant’s location, call to book a table and order take-away. 

This website design, build and maintenance was delivered with these services:

  • Essentials website design and build: The website includes 4 pages containing information about “Thai Hometown Restaurant”. The website showcases their food and both the dine-in & take-away menus. Patrons can easily call to book a table or order a take-away – or they can online for take-away if they prefer.
  • Plus Tailor Made: Configure the ONLINE ORDERING software called Gloria Food, including the menu, payment methods and printing in the kitchen and front desk.
  • Plus: I provided the content for review and editing by the client and reviewed their menu. Keyword research and Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) ensures that the foundation SEO is well established. All images were provided by the client and were edited and sized appropriately.

Healthy in the Middle

Website design - Brisbane - Health Coach

Healthy in the Middle supports women to optimise their health and wellness during and after the menopause transition. Claire had created a website using Weebly and was ready to take her business to the next level

The brief: Create a new website to help Claire to move into her business full time. The website must describe what health and wellness is and explain her services so that people can find her when searching for a wellness coach.  Clients must be able to get in touch by email or a form. Claire would like to be able to provide information about her events and eventually start a blog for her followers.

  • Essentials website design and build: The home page includes information about “Healthy in the Middle” and introduces the services provided. There is also a page for each of Claire’s 3 core services as well as “About” & “Contact” pages.
  • Plus: Website images were included in this project as well as keyword research, and Search Engine Optimisation (SEO). Some images were provided by the client and I sourced appropriate images from free sources. Claire provided the majority of her own content.

Custom 1: The next step for the “Healthy in the Middle” website was to add Claire’s blog, a great way to share valuable insights and drive traffic to her website.

Robyn is using her expertise in teaching adults and change management to provide retirement coaching programs. She needed a website as part of launching her new business.

The brief: Create a new website to help Robyn establish her presence online.  The website must describe what health and wellness is and explain her services so that people can find her when searching for a wellness coach.  Clients must be able to get in touch by email or a form.

Website design - Chapel Hill - Plumber

Plumbing Connexion is a family-run business that provides quality plumbing services to local residents in Chapel Hill, Kenmore, Fig Tree Pocket, Brookfield, Bellbowrie and beyond. Darryn had secured the registered the domain to secure his website name, but had not taken the next step to have a website created.

The brief: Create a new website to position Darryn as the plumber of choice in Chapel Hill. His goal is to grow his business over the coming years. We agreed on a 6-page website with his services broken down into 3 main areas. Clients must be able to get in touch by phone and we placed a form prominently on the home and contact pages.

  • Essentials website design and build: The home includes information about “Plumbing Connexion” and buttons to easily call Darryn – or to fill in a form and request a call back. There is also a page for the plumbing service areas as well as “About” & “Contact” pages.
  • My work included keyword research, and Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) and Content Writing. I sourced appropriate images from free sources and Darryn will also supply his own images.

Paddy's Biltong Bar

Website design - Toowong - Shop

Paddy’s Biltong Bar is a South African shop based in Toowong, Brisbane. The new owner needed a fresh new website. The previous website was a basic website built on GoDaddy.

The brief: Create a custom website to highlight the kind of products the shop sells, where it’s located, when it’s open and how to get in touch.

The WordPress website was designed from a blank canvas.

This website design, build and maintenance was delivered with these services:

  • Essentials website design and build: Main home page, 2 featured products pages, an ‘About u’s and a ‘Contact Us’ page.

Website design Electrician Western Suburbs Brisbane

Mark Zeidler Electrical is a family business based in Karana Downs. Although Mark has been in business since 2012, and he had created a website using Wix.com, his business needed a digital boost

The brief: Create a new website to assist Mark to grow his business. We have started with a one-page website to feature his services, the geographical areas he supports, his opening hours and how to get in touch. Mark asked for black, blue and green, and then eventually settle on black and blue.  This will form the foundation for more pages, should he choose to expand the website.
